Looking for Samuel and Hanna Rawson on 1841 and 1851 censuses (both born Hedon) - they would be aged about 46 and 45 on 1841 census.  Interested to know if there are any children at home with them on 1841.

With many thanks.

Zephyr

Hi Pam

Thank you for 1851 census info.  I only have 1861 census info on Rawsons by which time there were no children living at home but they had their grandson with them.  Hopefully with your info and if someone comes through with 1841 I will be able to put a name to the grandson's father.

With many thanks for 1851 census info.

Best wishes.

Janet

Hello Ed

Tha's just abhat made my day!!

I have a Robert Gibson born February 1799 - but that's the only info I have so far - there are that many Robert Gibsons.  Believe it or not... his father was called Robert and his mother Jane - they do like to keep the same names in the family which can make it quite confusing.  We also have shoemakers and cordwainers so this must be 'my Robert'.  I don't know how big Hedon was back then but it must have been full of Gibsons!

Any chance you could 'put the icing on the cake' and let me have 1841 census info on him as his wife was still alive then (son 5).  Then I should be able to find his marriage and start to fill out another branch of the family.

Ta ever so much.

Hi Pam

Many thanks for birth information on Leonard G Rawson.  Much appreciated.  I've been having a lot of difficulty recently with freebmd and familysearch - keep getting error message - don't know whether it's them or me!

Many thanks again.
