Hello gloss
I also have Connollys from Cavan from the parish of Annagh . My great great grandfather Michael married Rose Brady in 1852 . They had 6 children one of whom was called john . Also when their daughter Mary was born in 1853 her sponser was John Connolly . I wonder if Michael and John were brothers ?
Let me know what you think  :)

Hi mrst ,
Sorry to take so long to reply. I have been away. I don't have enough info yet to make any assumptions. I am unsure fo this family. Anything is possible. Do you have Michaels parent's names?

Gloss,

My family are the names you have given, who came to Australia in 1859.  My gg grandfather was Thomas & his brother & 2 sisters came out after to settle in a town called Tenterfield NSW.  There were also 2 sisters who immigrated to Canada then onto USA (Iowa) along with their mother.
I live in Australia.
I have been researching for many years & have never come across anyone else researching my family.  I came across this site by accident.  Look forward to hearing from you.

I have their baptism  from Kingscourt, Co Cavan.

Hi Chumley,
My ggrandmother was Mary Agnes Schroder nee Connolly. Her parents were Thomas Connolly and Margaret Crow. They are both buried in Tenterfield Cemetery. Where do you fit into the family tree???

Gloss,
We know each other.  I was excited when I first saw posting as I thought it could have been someone in Ireland.   I also grew up in Tenterfield & your mum still lives there?
