Showing my ignorance here. Could anyone tell me where St Davids district is Glasgow Lanark. It is so difficult coming from London. ::)

St Davids Church is (was) at the top end of Candleriggs near Hutchesons Hospital just east of the modern day City Centre.

Have a look at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/   .... the 1865 map for Glasgow

and Grid Ref: 259500,665410
