1861/1871 censuses - Roydhouse in Hedon - COMPLETED - MANY THANKS TO NESSIE & ED

Looking for Jane Roydhouse born Hedon 1852.  Living in Doncaster on 1881 census with her brother James (aged 28 and 31 respectively on 1881 census) but presume she would still be in Hedon on 1861 and 1871.  Sorry, but I don't know the names of her parents or if any other siblings.

That is fantastic!

I have a John Gibson who married an Ellen Roydhouse in 1873, she being 14 years his junior, and a generation later I have a George Gibson marrying a Jane Roydhouse who is 10 years older than him!  Sisters!  I also have a Margaret Roydhouse living with John and Ellen on 1901 census.  Nothing like keeping it in the family!!

Hopefully, I will get 1871 census to see if there are any more children but with the mother being 51 it is doubtful.

Thank you very much for that Edmund.  I've found Thomas on 1881 living in Sculcoates Union Workhouse in Hull.  Poor chap - looks like his family didn't want him...
