Hi there,

I am new to the list as I have just made it over the water from Manchester 

I have found a marriage on the IGI and wondered if anyone had access to the full entry ...

Marriage 05 AUG 1815   Braddan, Isle Of Man

between Edward QUAYLE & Eliz QUINE

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Vanda,

You could try asking on http://www.isle-of-man.com/cgi-bin/interests/genealogy/bulletin/index.pl?noframes;#499007

But you will find that marriage entries prior to 1849 don't provide much extra detail.  It might tell you if a person is widowed, it will also usually state each person as being either "of this parish" or "of XXXXX parish".  It won't give father's names and it won't give occupations.  It will give witnesses.
