ELLESON (all)
« on: Sunday 05 March 06 21:13 GMT (UK) »
Anyone out there researching the ELLESON family?

Earliest known - Thomas Elleson born approx 1815, Lambeth, m Mary Ann Seaker 1836.
Children Ann 1838, Thomas 1839, Joseph Dungate 1841, Leonard Jonathan 1843, William 1845, John 1848.

John married Eliza Emma Love in 1869 (Lambeth)
Children John Stephen 1871, Elizabeth 1872, Stephen Joseph 1875, Kathleen 1876, Joseph 1879, Herbert James 1882, Henry Ernest 1885, Florence Lucy Luisa 1888

John Stephen married Frances Lilian Willams in 1892 (Lambeth)
Children Kathleen Lilian (Kate) 1893, John Henry 1895, Francis Wilfred (Frank) 1896

There is also a branch in Worcester, and some BMD's in Suffolk and Yorkshire but no proven connection from any of these to the Lambeth family.

We would be interested in any news on any Ellesons. Is it someone's spelling mistake which stuck? Are there several distinct families or are we all related several generations back? Any ideas would be welcome.

Hi Veron,

Hope you are still around.

I am interested to know if you have any further information on Eliza Emma LOVE who married in 1868 in Lambeth.

I'm trying to find anyone with a connection to the Love's I am looking into.  A very remote chance she could be the daughter of one of the 5 sons born between 1835 and 1849, to my lot from Lambeth.  Some of the names of their children are in keeping with the family. Particularly Florrence, Ernest, Charles, Elizabeth.

It's a long shot, but worth a try.

Kind regards,

Jo
