Hi are there any census lookups you would like, I have access to 1871, 1891 and some 1901, if you do if you could give as much detail as you can then I will take a look for you.

Thank you for the offer Nicky, I am not sure which census to ask you for. I have a gap between the 1851 census and the 1881  census. On the 51 census my G.G.Grandparents  Joseph Danks aged 39 & Harriet aged 44.  (a school mistress)Where still in Dudley with the children. Also on the cenus was my G.G.G. Grandfather also named Joseph aged 74. On the 1881 census My G.G.Grandmother Harriet Danks is living with son Samuel and family in Fullwood York and is a widow aged 74. Would you have a look on the 1871 census dudley St thomas. so i can close  the gap as to when G.G.Grandfather Joseph died He was a glassmaker

My Great (x6) Grandmother was named Mary Danks, daughter of Richard Danks and Sarah (formerly Finch) b. ABT 1720 in Dudley.
Mary married William Leech in 1740 and had two daughters named Ann and Mary. The Leech sisters married two Fereday brothers!!

Hello Ryan I have to say that Ann Danks is the last wife of a jones that i have to do.  She became a Jones in 1859. I have only recently got back to the Danks so havent got a lot on them. I am not going into the sibling marriages this time except maybe one or 2 males. I am going up with my direct ancesters. So if i find any connections with yours i will let you know. Happy Hunting

No living with his in-laws. I now have another sister for Ann :)

Hi Celia. Glad I could help a bit. I double checked for Mary and she is certainly Mary J here - there is a Jane further up the page to compare. She is also 17. My 1851 transcription has her as Mary Jane aged 5. Did you perhaps make a mistake with the Mary Ann?
I havn't done much with the Wallace lot, got a bit stuck with one from near Leicester so decided to leave it a bit. They probably did come from Scotland but I don't know when ???

I checked again ,i only have one Mary, no Mary Jane. it's not important. do you think maybe the person that copied it out for me made a mistake. It isnt the oridginal one.
