It's got so bad at my house, my computer automatically switches itself on and dials up Rootschat when I walk in the room.   Poor thing!!         ;)

Hi Barbara,
We are typical examples of addicts I guess. Its 6.42 am, I have loads of stuff to do before leaving for work, but I have to catch up with the RootsChat latest or the day just dosnt get off on the right foot.
        Best wishes,   Linda.

Like the others - I can't bear to miss anything!!!  :D

It's becoming more Rootschat than genealogy, too.  I am meant to be putting together a life story of two of my great-grandparents, based on resources I've gathered, but I spend so much time on Rootschat that I'm not getting on very fast with the story!!  ::)

Housework?  What's that?  Pah!!!

HELP!!

Thats like me. I spend so much time on RootsChat that I dont concentrate on the task in hand, namely my family tree. However, even though I am not adding more names, at least I am learning more about genealogy in general, and having fun, so its time well spent.

I'm exactly the same, I trawl through the old postings and avidly read the questions and answers - very few of them apply to me, but they are soooooooooo interesting.   It's impossible to log off once you start      :D

Linmey - get to work NOW       ;D

same here, I only popped on this morning to see what has been posted since last night in the common room and armed forces board only to end up in four other boards as well! I was just about to log off when I saw that there had been another posting and I had to see what it was (I blame you for this one Barbara ;D) oh well better go I suppose.

Half an hour I've been sat here now!

I'm supposed to be getting the kids sorted for school.  Still it all helps them become more independent doesn't it.
