1841 Census
« on: Tuesday 07 March 06 20:40 GMT (UK) »
Is it available on line?

Last week I visited the Gloucester Family History Centre and some kind person found the family I was looking for on the 1841.  I assumed that the census was on-line but I now have access to Ancestry and it isn't there.

There are some parts of the country on www.britishorigins.net  Also I know some people have parts on CD.

Ancestry has said they're bringing the 1841 census online 'soon' but no actual date yet I think.

*** Just found a route to 1841 census using Ancestry

If you search for someone on any other year ,  & use the 'All Census Results' link  along the top of the results, it offers 1841 England census
