HI,

I have no Wallbanks in my Family tree, but I  have a 1901 Census  of a Wallbank family living at   16 Francis St Hyde Cheshire, they were William Wallbank head aged 25 Boiler Maker Riveter born Hyde. Mary A Wife aged 24 born Eckington Derby. Esther  daughter 1 years old born Hyde. Now there was also a William Leah 19 a Boarder, born Hyde, said he was a coal miner (Hewer) and a Joseph Leah boarder 17 born Hyde also a coal miner(Hewer) they were brothers of my Grandad John Leah  born 1877 Hyde he was also a coal miner at one stage,
Hope this information may be helpfull to someone,  If any one knows of these Wallbanks, or Leah's could you please get in contact with me,
appreciate any help at all if possible, to shed some light on my Leah's
I  think william may have been in the Cheshire Regiment in 1915 and killed in ww1. He may have married in 1905 and had children but not really sure, No nothing about Joseph, would like to get information on him.
Barbara Mcvey(Leah) from Australia.

Hi,
I have Wallbank relations from Dordon Warwickshire...funnily enough I live about 2 minutes from the area and I am going to the local cemetry tomorrow to see if there are any headstones.

My Grandma Dorothy Grace Wallbank b.1898
My Gt Grandad Richard Wallbank b 1852
My Gt Gt Grandad Richard Wallbank b 1824.  All born Dordon/Polesworth.

Have you any of these in your tree??

Hi,

I research the Wallbank line, primarily in Staffordshire. Hednesford appears in my family tree. I have the following, born Hednesford:

* Mary Wallbank (b.1818); Samuel Wallbank (born c.1819); Thomas Wallbank born 1820 (my 3xgreat grandfather); Edmund Wallbank (b.1823); Sarah Wallbank (born c.1827); Susannah Wallbank (b.1829); Anne Wallbank,(b.1831); Eliza Wallbank (b.1833); William Wallbank (b.1835); John Wallbank (b.1837); children of Thomas Wallbank (b.1784, Hednesford) and Dorothy Chapman (my 4xgreat grandparents)

* Children of Anne Chapman and John Wallbank (b.1786 in Hednesford): Thomas Henry Wallbank (b.1813); John Wallbank (b.1814); Anne Chapman Wallbank (b.1817); George Wallbank (b.1818); Edward Wallbank (b.1821); Charles Wallbank (b.1823); Henry Wallbank (b.1825); Emma Wallbank (b.1827); Eliza Wallbank (b.1830); Mary Wallbank (b.1832)

Any relation?

- Lucia
