1891/1901 censuses - William Gibson - COMPLETED WITH MANY THANKS TO MARYA
« on: Wednesday 08 March 06 21:39 GMT (UK) »
Looking for William Gibson born 1846 Ottringham.  On 81 has wife Sarah & children George (7) and Sarah Jane (2) living in Kingston Upon Hull.  His occupation is carpenter.

Could someone please let me have his details from 1891 & 1901 censuses.  I am presuming there will have been additions to the family!

With many thanks.

Zephyr

Any help here?  Could you perhaps give the references for the 1881 census since I can't find them with the details you've given.

Thanks

Hello MaryA

Thank you for your trouble - the info I have is RG11 4774 Folio 96 page 5.  81 census says he was born in Offingham but I think this has been mistranscribed and should be Ottringham.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks.

Helly Mary

Thank you very much for all your efforts - it is very much appreciated.  I have details of Joseph - he is William's brother but it was very thoughtful of you to send inf.  Looks like William moved to be near family after losing his wife.

Thank you very much indeed for all the information.

With very best wishes.
