Trying to locate a farm selby??

Trying to locate where the Farm of James Allison Born 1822 Wistow would have been.
on 1881 census it has SOUTH LANE CAWOOD COMMON.I think this is part of selby.
Ive looked at earlier census in 1861 and has a different location, sherburn road side also th ename of th efarm which i cant read!
Any help appreciated.

cawood common and Wistow are to the north of Selby-not on the a19 but a little B road which runs to Cawood

well-it not a village or even a hamlet-just a place. Wistow mine is on it

Aye it is on the 1861. If you look on old maps website it is marked.
