Decifering death certificates - medical terms

I have a copy of my gt gt grandmothers death certificate Emma Mixter and I am trying to interpret what she died from. The cause of death says Confinement 1 month 14 days, Leucemia 1 month. It is certified by, I presume a doctor.
Does confinement mean pregnancy, did she miscarry after 1 month and 14 days, or had she given birth. The leucima I guess is cancer, so did she give birth and die within 2 months of cancer.
She died in Feb 1877 and I note there is a birth for an Arthur Mixter in the same quarter followed by his death a year leter. Family history said she died of TB but looks like that was wrong. There was no mention of a baby either.

Regarding your speculations:

Confinement
Restraint within doors by sickness, esp. that caused by childbirth; lying-in.


And the word “leucima” could be a wrongly spelt reference to either of the following

Leukemia
Cancer of the Blood. Malignant neoplasm of blood-forming tissues; characterized by abnormal proliferation of leukocytes.


Leucorrhoea (aka The Whites, i.e., Leucorrhoea is Flour Albis in Latin.)
 A discharge of white, yellowish, or greenish, viscid mucus, resulting from inflammation or irritation of the membrane lining the genital organs of the female.
