1861 Census lookup Whithorn ?

I am gathering information on a family named COWELL.

The only confirmed detail I have is that they had a daughter MARY ANN aged about 2 who was born in Whithorn.

Any information gratefully received.

I think Whithorn could be Witham.

              There a couple of Cowell families in the Witham 1851 census on     web(.)ukonline(.)co(.)uk/sheila(.)jones/51ceninfo   This is on the Essex census    Notepad ESS5111  .   Hope this is of help.

Do you know anymore about this family yet

For the record.............their are 448 Cowell's in the Essex census of 1841  :o

Researching names BRYANT (Camberwell), PASTERFIELD (Essex and all), RAY (Holborn/Islington areas back to Brentford), POWELL (Glouc & beyond?)
Fletcher (Glouc into Warwickshie into Lancs?), BUCKLEY (Chatham area), Watson (Chatham area).
