Amelia Morgan, Maiden name????

Hi,
Can anyone help me with the maiden name of Amelia Morgan, born about 1811 in Tintern?
Her husband was Lewis Morgan, born about 1806 in Cheptow.
Their first child was born about 1839 in Bristol so i'n not sure if they would have been married in Wales or England.

Do you know the name of the first child?  It might be easier to obtain details of their birth, which may show mothers maiden name  ???

Hi

The Bristol & Avon FHS marriage index 1813-1837 has the following marriage in the parish of St. Augustine, diocese of Bristol:

23 August 1829 between Lewis Morgan and Amelia Williams

The marriage was by Banns and both bride and groom were of the parish.

No way of knowing if this is your Amelia, but it is the only record of a marriage between a Lewis Morgan and an Amelia in the index.  Hope it helps.
