Burrial Index jersey. William Taylor.
« on: Saturday 11 March 06 11:14 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
Could anyone look up the burrial index for a William Taylor on the island of Jersey between 1841 and 1851?
I found him and his family on the 1841 census for jersey, when he was 38 but by 1851, his wife, Sarah, born 1810, and his children had moved to Bristol, England and she was a widow.
         Many Thanks. Paul.  ???

Paul -

I have found two possible death index references:

William Francis Taylor,  Aug 1849 - Aug 1850  page 33;
William Taylor, Aug 1849 - Aug 1850  page 81.

You can order copies of these certificates from -
The Superintendent Registrar
10 Royal Square
St Helier
Jersey   JE2 4WA

Tel. 01534 502335

Cerificates cost £10 each, plus p&p UK 50p; Europe £1.00 and elsewhere £2.00.

Hope this helps.
