Colonial Forces in Africa
« on: Saturday 11 March 06 23:14 GMT (UK) »
Robert Copeland was born in approximately 1877 in Glasgow, Scotland. His parents were Irish and the family moved to South Australia in approx 1879. Robert served in WW1 and his service record indicates that he served for approximately 2 years with the Colonial Forces in Africa (detail of exactly where in Africa is not given). Does anyone have any information on where I could obtain information on soldiers from Australia who served in the Colonial Forces in Africa around the turn of the century?
