Lost for ever,family Bible.Churchill
« on: Sunday 12 March 06 03:26 GMT (UK) »
My Husbands family had a beautiful family Bible, with brass fastener and hinges, which was in his grandparents family home up to about 1968.There was one family member still living in the family home up until then.It was left in that home in Nordley Street,Nordley Hill, Staffs. up to When the last family member was taken into a nursing home in Staffordshire. It was then the Bible did a dissapearing act.
The Churchill family originated in Worcestershire.around near Dudley. The Bible has some family history in it,We would give anything to find it.When we went back to England we called around that home to see if they would search the attic to see if it was still there. No luck.It cant be any good to anyone unless they are of the CHURCHILL family.
Of course it could have been thrown out i suppose. :'(  I am grasping at straws now!
Has anyone out there got a family Bible belonging to the CHURCHILL family.

Heres hoping,with fingers crossed. :-*
