To-day, I received my General Service Medal for time spent in Aden during the 1960's troubles.......not bad to say that I should have received it some 41 years ago; originally, on demob from the RAF in 1965, I was told that I did not qualify.
Still........ better late than never I suppose.

linmey..I believe that they had the dates mixed up,then last year I was told that I should have the medal...so I had to send in an application.
