GRO ref for Elizabeth Jones

I am trying to find a GRO ref - vol & page - to enable me to order a birth certificate for Elizabeth Jones born 6/2/1852 in Mells.  The only one I can find is in Frome - could this be the one please?  Her brother's was registered in Clutton

Hi Maureen,

Yes Mells is listed under Frome registration district.

If you go to GENUKI site www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/SOM/#CivilRegistration click on civil registration districts then Frome and you will see all the areas covered, and if you wish to order from the local office, the address where to apply.

Certificates ordered direct from the GRO are taking approximately three weeks at the moment!
