Looking for John Martin Wrightson on 1891 and 1901 censuses.  He would be 33/43 respectively.  Born East Cottingwith.  Occupation - miller.  Sorry, don't know name of wife or any children hence census request.

Hi Isobel

Thank you very much for that information.  I'm sure this is the right person - on 1881 census he worked for a miller but what convinces me this is 'the one' is his daughter Aluta.  John has a sister Annie and one of her daughters is called Aluta.  Not a name I was familiar with until I started out on my husband's family - must be peculiar to East Riding!

Many many thanks for information - this really helps me on my way with another branch of the family.
