Catherine Gordon

I am trying to trace a Catherine Gordon supposedly born Douglas, Isle of Man about 1838. I believe her father was Henry Gordon. Unfortunately I have no other information. other than she married a Thomas Whiteside in 1859 at Preston, Lancashire.
Many thanks.

Thanks Catherine.
I don't think so. I was rather hoping NOT to find her as being born in Isle of Man. The Catherine Gordon I am tracing was born in Gibraltar, then suddenly the 1861 census says Douglas, Isle of Man. I can only assume the enumerator got it wrong! I thought I had suddenly gone down the wrong line.
Thanks for your time.
