Bath area marriage early 1800's

Could anyone please do a lookup in parish records for a marriage between James Matthews and Mary ? c1818. James was a writer born c1790 and Mary c1789.

The nearest I could find was James Henry Mathews  batchelor of the parish to Maria Big Bennett spinster of Bath St. James on 16. 08. 1817 at Bathhampton.

Thank you think it is a little late 1st child born 1815. My James Matthews was a writer if that helps

The only other one I could find was at Bath Abbey on 4. 04. 1813 but he married Ann Perry.  You would need to find the actual entry to get more details.

The only other one I could find was at Bath Abbey on 4. 04. 1813 but he married Ann Perry.  You would need to find the actual entry to get more details.  Do you know where Mary was born as marriages usely took place in the Bride's parish.

No sorry on 1841 census they were living in Devizes but were down as out of county
