WOOD - Edwin Fergus O'Connor Squire c. 1830??
« on: Tuesday 21 March 06 15:56 GMT (UK) »
The man formally known as Prince.
This is what name is seen on the marriage register Wakefield in 1859.
In 1861, on his son George's birth cert, he is calling himself Prince Edwin Fergus O'onnor Squire Wood!
Does anybody recognize this man!?
He married Hannah Walker in Nov 1859.
I would like to know more about his death and birth and family upbringing, as he has been a mystery for a while.
Also, his wife ends up in the workhouse so it would be nice to know why :) !!

Anything at all would be really helpful, especially about the whole "Prince" thing!  ;D ;D ;D
WALTON line from Yorkshire is my main interest.
WOOD, TYERMAN, WALKER, HAWE.
Any information on Fryston Colliery and that particular area would also be gratefully received!
William SYKES is also a great interest of mine because i cant seem to find him! Born c.1840 "Iron Chapel" Bradford.
Thanks!!!

Yes this is the right one!
Have been told by someone who is also related to this family that he was staying with family elsewhere. And yes he was a coal miner, so this would have to be him!
Any ideas why he was living somewhere else whilst still being married? At the time he is living here his wife is in the Workhouse giving birth!
