Hello all

I am new to the site and my great great grandmother was Elizabeth Wargent b 1837 in Yarkil. She married George Henry Russell. Please let me know if you have them listed in your tree. Her father is listed as Samuel Wargent.

Thanks, Lori

Hi Willow

It doesnt seem that Wargent is a very common name. Were your Wargents in the same area of Fritwell?

Hiya Lori

No mine all seem to be from Ledbury at the moment but I havent traced the line further back from 1811 when they married into my Bowkett line

I think the William Wargent who married Martha Saunders was born in May 1728, eldest son of John Wargent of Hereford who married Ann Pool of Ledbury in 1727.
