Hi Kes,

You could contact the Buckinghamshire FHS. If you want a printout you will find the charges very reasonable.

Kind Regards,

Hi Kes,
The only Ainsworth I could find in Amersham parish records was John Ainsworth M Dorcas Beamsley 31/3/1793. Could be the lad you are after?
Roberts - Kent/Middx. Trow/Harris - Surrey. Johnston -Scotland, Lanarkshire, Barony (Glasgow). Brown - Buckinghamshire. Beale - Middx/Surrey. Hardwick - East London/Essex. Lambert - Norfolk/East London. Reddekopp - USA. Prescott - Berkshire/Ireland/Lincolnshire <br />Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Thank you both for your help.
I do think the John and Dorcas you mentioned are James Parents Bob. On the I.G.I there is a Sarah Ainsworth bn 1794. Then on the 1841 Census James Ainsworth and family have a Sarah Ainsworth living with them,  age as 45 then but that is only two years out from her birth year on the I.G.I. That's  nothing compared to some age differences I have found while doing this.
She does not state she is James Sister but could well be. I will have to find out.
Thanks again both of you
