Hello
Would you have time to do a look up for me in the Yorks Census for 35 Great Passage Street, Kingston-upon-Hull.   I am hoping against hope to find John and Mary Tracy.   There is no hurry for this - I'm just grateful for people like you.

Jan in Oz.

I,m really sorry to disapoint you but i can't find any Tracy's at all in Great Passage Street.  I might have missed them tho, cos the writing is almost illegible, very small and faint.  If you find someone with another copy of the 1861 for Yorkshire the Ref no is RG9-3593-115/123.  Thier copy might be better than mine.

Hi Christine

You are a pal, of the very best kind.

Thank you for the entries from those last two folio's and yes, they all fit in with the wives side of the family.

Glad you were also able to find the Tite, Chapman entries etc of some use.

Because of the backlog of 1891 enquiries, I am now helping Hol828 with the lookups (I took early retirement to send more time doing Archaeology, Family & Local History)

Looks like you are pretty busy with lookups as well

Thanks a million

Hiya Chris,

No worries about doing look ups for me because i think my Leeds lot were Gypsies and moved about all over the place, so while i,m doing lookups i,m keeping an eye out for BAXENDALES,GARFORTHS and ROBERTS  lol

My brother and i are planning a trip to Norfolk to go through the Records there, Hopefully we can tie in a few starys we have and discover even more surnames to add to our tree.

Good look with all your searches and if you ever need any help with the Yorkshire lot again just give me a shout.  Otley and Ilkley are lovely places ( i,m not that far away).

Fitty - bah'tat ;)

Hi fitty

Well, seeing as you mentioned it first (lol) we do have one more query.

The LISTERS of Ilkley and Otley are my wives ancestors on her Father's side - on her mothers side they are EASTWOOD; but they are all in one place namely

HORBURY in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

Possible location of some /most of them would be at Dudfleet Mill near Horbury.

Would be ever so pleased to receive info on same

Thanks chuck

Thanks Christine - he was the one we were looking for.

There should have been another Jonas Eastwood within the confines of Dudfleet Mill on the outskirts of Horbury.

Thanks anyway chuck - you are a diamond among the gems

We both appreciate you doing this research for us.
