Registration District for Llanbradach

I have a relation from Llanbradach, Nr Newport/Caerphilly. I've searched Monmouthshire but can't find him! Am I looking in the right place?

its not that easy certain dates were reg district ,  monmouth, brecnock, and pontypridd.

It gets worse... I'm looking for William Jones c1875. When I've tried searching there are hundreds of people with that name. I was hoping to narrow it down!!

the only one i have found of that name and date is william jones, elizabeth st aberdare, not a million miles away from llanbradach

Hi,

He could possibly have birth place as Eglwysilan which would be the parish name, reg district in my knowlege would come under Pontypridd as it is less than 5 miles away.  Otherwise it would be Newport.

Registers now in Pontypridd district.

Thanks everyone. All I have is that he was born in Llanbradach - 2 addresses in High Street, then moved to North Wales to work in a quarry. This is where he met his wife. Moved back to Llanbradach to work in a coal mine, died and was buried there. His wife moved back to Denbighshire. I also have a picture which may be him in army uniform. His wife was Mary Evans. I'm just guessing at the year of birth. Can anyone help?

On the 1881 census I put Llanbradach as address search with Jones in name box. 

This is the only address that came up -  Nr Llanbradach Arms, Eglwysilan, Glamorgan, Wales.

Only one family with William Jones linked to the above and that was 'David William Jones' b 1872 most of the family had birth place as Eglwysilan.  Do not know if this helps

Do you have his marriage cert for info, or have him on any census?

Tried the same for Monmouth and took me back to the above address, as some parish/reg district overlap.
