Farmer Family in Wiltshire
« on: Saturday 25 March 06 21:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi!

My Grandfather was Frank Baden Farmer (b1921), son of William Charles Farmer (B1873), son of John Farmer (b1849) son of John Farmer (b1809).  Frank was born in Melksham, William in Melksham, and both Johns were from South Savernake.

John Farmer (1849) was married to Jane Baden (b1848) whos parents were (I think) David Baden (1811-1887, from Oare) and Charlotte (Maiden name unknown).

John Farmer (1809) was married to Elizabeth ( maiden name unknown) who was born in Milton in 1814.

I'd be interested to know more about these people, in particular, the maiden names of Charlotte and Elizabeth.

If anyone can shed any light on the lives of these people, or put me in touch with living relatives, I'd be a very happy chap!!

Oh and one more thing....dont be dissappointed if you have to wait for info for a while. I have had replies in two seconds and then a couple of months...which is even nicer cos you really have given up by then...and it's a lovely surprise :D

On this site if any of these home grown detectives can help....They will!!!!

I've got a Mary A Farmer in my tree, unfortunately not the same one. Mine was born around 1816 in Corsham (according to census).
Could they be related though?

Stephen.
