Hi Dave
I have found out that Robert Bugden was accidentally killed when he fell off a dray in 1879. This means there is a corner's report somewhere which I hope to track down. It may list a next of kin!

But I have a request of you.

Do you have  access to the trial transcripts of Robert's trial. It ocurs to me that it is sure to have his address! What do you think?

Cheers Greg

Hi Greg
Just got back to UK.   Robert didn't have the greatest luck did he.   I'll have a look to see if I can find trial transcripts, but as before if he went to the assizes the records will not be at county level.
Hope you're well in sunny OZ, cheers DAve

Hi Greg
Had a look in the Rolls for the Salisbury Easter Sessions.   Sounds very grand but really only a bundle of documents tied up with tape.
They were mainly concerned with appointing jurors and petty crimes no mention that I could see of any trial transcriptions etc.
Can offer no further information.
Cheers Dave
