Do you think it had any affect on them to dress up as little girls?

Kerry

It didn't turn my dad "girly" — he never did any housework anyway!

How about this one for a ghastly frock — my mum aged 5. I thought it was a vest but she told me it was a "special frock" for the time! At least her brother is dressed OK.

There have been some great photos posted — keep them coming!

And just for a change — girl dressed as boy.
My mum again (far left); a bit older and dancing as a Tiller girl.

Has anyone got any photos of wonderful hats? I remember a wedding photo that was posted a while ago, with some fantastic concoctions in it!

Not sure if this one is a fantastic frock that my father is wearing - or if I should put the photo on the family likeness page - as the first one is me!!

Never noticed the slight similarities - even at that age - before!!

Cheers

Not so much a fantastic frock as a horrendous hat!

Great-grandmother Helen was reputed to be a follower of fashion - so when was this monstrosity in vogue?

Follow-up question: how on earth did she keep it on?   ;D
