Help please!
« on: Monday 27 March 06 10:46 BST (UK) »
Can anyone please help me find Thomas Rothery, born c 1834 in Whitehaven Cumberland.
He married a Mary Jane (surname unknown as I cant find there marriage), and they had a son in 1860 called John Rothery in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
They then had another child in 1864 called Thomas, in Plumbland, before moving to Page Bank in County Durham where they had more children.
His wife Mary Jane was also born in Whitehaven c1833.
I have them on the 1891, and 1881 census but no others prior to that.
Can anyone help me find them?

Thankyou so much,

Colleen

Thankyou for that, I found the 1861 census info but wasnt sure if it was them because of wife, one says Mary Jane from Cumberland the other is Jane from Ireland.
Maybe the info was wrong or he remarried.
Can he be seen in the 1851 census?
Thanks
