William Edward Ryan
« on: Monday 27 March 06 11:59 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace some information regarding William Edward Ryan born 1930 in Limerick. He has no memories of his parents (for whatever reason) however does have a brother called JOHN RYAN born 1926.
He was evacuated to  the Oxford area in 1939. And has had no contact in 60 years.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Hi
The site below may lead you to further information, perhaps if you contact someone at the museum asking for info on where to find evacuees details:

I assume that neither of the brothers has a birth certificate; and how do you know they came from Limerick - is this from someone else in the family - would they have any other info?

Good luck - Ryan is a very common name in county Limerick!
