Hi Jemz

Welcome to Rootschat!  :)

Please could you add some dates and places to your request?  Maybe you could post a census that you have found them on, or at least the reference?

Are you looking for living relatives, or trying to extend your tree?

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

To help everybody looking, the reference (S14) for that marriage on the Kent Registration Services Site (if I am correct) would relate to a marriage at Folkestone (Kent) parish church (St Mary) http://extranet3.kent.gov.uk/sp/rois/home.html

Would Folkestone be the right area?

It looks like they had a daughter Annie as well ....................

1891 - 24 North Street, Folkestone ..........

Edward ANDREWS head mar 36 labourer b.Folkestone
Annie wife 29 b.Folkestone
Annie dau 9 b.Folkestone
Edward son 7 b.Folkestone
Fanny dau 6 b.Folkestone
Florrie dau 4 b.Folkestone
Charlie son 2 b.Folkestone

rg12/748 folio 51 page 46
......................

I'll post the 1901 as well so as it's clearer for everybody to see just who we are looking for and perhaps get some ideas of what to look for etc. ;)

1901

47 Bridge Street, Folkestone

Edward ANDREWS head mar 47 house carpenter b.Folkestone
Ann wife 42 b.Folkestone
Edward son unm 17 carter b.Folkestone
Fanny dau 16 b.Folkestone
Flossy dau 14 b.Folkestone
Charlie son 12 b.Folkestone
Willie son 10 b.Folkestone
John son 7 b.Folkestone
Lizzie dau 5 b.Folkestone
Sidney son 3 b.Folkestone
Horris son 4m b.Folkestone

Rg13/849 folio 105 page 28
.............................

Ok, I take it that you are trying to look for descendants ie. children and grandchildren of all the above after 1901 ???  No easy task - there were quite a few ANDREWS' families in Folkestone and it might be quite easy to get the various families mixed up ;)

Do you know if they all stayed in Folkestone?
Do you know who any of them married and where they lived?
Or perhaps when any of them died/where buried or anything at all?

This could be a toughie!!

I thought I would give you a hand by looking through the birth indexes (currently free on Ancestry) for births of babies with surname Andrews, with mother's maiden name LEE, from 1919 onwards, to find William Frank and Ronald Charles, along with any other siblings.
I THOUGHT I would nip through about 10 years for you!

However, it is a big task, as there are several pages of Andrews for each quarter, and there are obviously several Andrews/Lee marriages around at the time!

I just did 2 years, and here are the births of Andrews/Lee babies in 1919 and 1920:

JFM 1919 Arthur  Hull 9d 359
AMJ 1919 George G  Brentford 3a272
AMJ 1919 Joan B  Hammersmith 1a 262
JFM 1920 Kenneth Woolwich 1d 2951
JFM 1920 Robert Hartlepool 10a 409
JFM 1920 William F Elham 2a 2758
AMJ 1920 Hilda J Bristol 6a 495

Looks like I found William, but it will take a bit of time to go through a number of years looking for others. As I said, it is free, so if I were you, Jemz, I'd go for it!
