Not every baby was baptised;  I've been looking for almost 20 years for baptisms for my grandfather and his 9 sibings......nothing.  Possibly because the parents were of different religions.

My father was also born at 28 Marloes Road. It was originally a poor house but became St Mary Abbots Hospital in 1923. My dad was born the following year. Buildings were badly damaged during WW2 by V2 rockets.
