Here are mine:

Florence Ellen Smith- B. 1900 Barton Mills, Suffolk, D. 1967 Suffolk.
Phyllis Mary Shinn- B. 1915 Worlington, Suffolk, D. 1989 Tuddenham St. Mary, Suffolk.
Gladys Cook- B. 1911 Stetchworth, Cambs, D. 1991 Hertfordshire.
Bessie Patton- B. 1919 Langham, Suffolk, D. 2009 Suffolk.

When i was born 3 of these were still alive but i was too young to remember Phyllis and Gladys. I knew my Nanna Bessie, although she suffered an unfortunate stroke in 1997 which she never properly recovered from. I always remember her with fondness however  :)

Wow! I only had one grandmother alive when I was born, let alone any great grandmothers.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.

I only ever knew one grandmother- whose own mother died when she was a baby so no memories at all. I  never knew any great grandparents who all died long before I was born. They all seem to have been quite resourceful women with far from easy lives:
Emma Amelia Harvey-born Shoreham by Sea Sussex , 1827, a dressmaker. Married in Scotland aged 26 and travelled with her husband -a gunner in the Royal Artillery, to Ireland and to Essex. Had 4 children died Northamptonshire 1908.
Rosina Sophia Morton born Windsor in 1845, married in London aged 19, lived in Battersea, 7 children moved back to Windsor by 1881, died 1908.
Hannah Royal born Yarmouth Norfolk 1857. Married to a mariner, aged 21,  3 children died Yarmouth, October 1886 when her youngest child was only 6 moths old.
Sarah Charlotte Tann born Norwich 1853 married aged 19 had 13 children, (4 of whom died within 7 weeks of each other in 1887). Widowed when her youngest child was only 2 she died in 1927.
I've found out the names and some information about  all of their mothers as well- 8 great grandmothers. I think having few relatives left alive from the older generation when I was a child made me want to find out their stories.
Cooper- Berks, Herts, Wrexham,Birmingham
Garrett- London, Berks
Morton-Berkshire
Harvey- Essex
Hambling, Royal,Dale,Jackson, Tann, Boatwright Edridge/Etheridge/Uttridge -all Norfolk
Osborne-Norfolk and Northumberland/Durham

Three of my Great grandmothers came from same parish, and stayed there for their lives.

All my great Grand mothers lived in Co Kilkenny in Republic of Ireland.
To date I have not found any ancestor to have come from another county.

When I was researching an individual person in parish register which was on microfiche, I found other relatives that I had not expected to find so soon.

Adding mine too:

Margaret Ogilvie             born 1858 in Victoria, Australia
Mary Wall                      born 1868 in Shropshire, England
Caroline Martin              born 1881 in Victoria, Australia
Margaret Stuart             born 1861 in County Clare, Ireland

I met Margaret at her 100th birthday celebrations when I was a small child and I'm amazed that I can say I met someone born in 1861.

I've just realised I have photographs of all of my Great grandmothers . Never connected it really,  I've always had the photos, but never thought of it that way.

Kind regards
