Paula,

Not a problem.

Some have yet to be scanned but I shall see what I can do with the ones that have.  I have a very poor wedding photo I would dearly love to be restored.  It is bad shape is blurred too (and it features the above Rose too).

Thank you for the offer.

Regards,

James R. Yeowell.

Great, I'm beginning to feel very fond of Rose. I'll watch out for her.

I never met her, being born a long time after her passing.  I do gather she was a stern lady though.

I have posted in a restoration thread and she is present in two of the photos.  I shall scan some more in someday soon too.

Isn't it time this one was closed and a new one started?
It's gone way over 20 pages.

Why?

Actually my g grandmother was also Caroline..... Her mother was Caroline and the Caroline in the picture was her mother in law and her mother-in- law was also Caroline.... so far I have 7 Caroline's in the same line of the tree... hence my confusion lol ;-)

I have looked into all four branches of my tree and was lucky enough to have met one of my great grandparents (only just!)

Maria Bray (Radlett) 1894-1967
Rose Davis (Chambers/Pike) 1892-1983
Martha Monks (Smith) 1868-1951
Mary Abrehart (Lavender) 1878-1963

I remember Rose. I have an image of her sat in a chair with a croched blanked over her knees watching me play at her feet. I'd have been 3 and she was 91!

I don't have pictures of Maria, as they were destroyed when their house was bombed in WW2, but I have got pictures of the last three. I'm on the wrong laptop, so can only post one. Here's Rose:

Lavender (Ruislip, Mitcham), Abrehart (Edmonton, Mitcham), Smith (Edmonton, Enfield, Mitcham), Flook & Monks (Lambeth, Bristol), Radlett (Stepney, Southwark, Somerset), Bray (Rotherhithe), Chambers (Oaksey, Sapperton), Davis (Oaksey, Kemble)
