My four are:

William Henry Hunt. Born 1854, Barnstaple , Devon.  He was a Master Draper. Died 1931.
John Nicholas. Born 1861, Llandovery, Camarthenshire. He was a Chemist. Died 1939.
Edward James Fayrer. Born 1864, Dartmouth, Devon.  He was in the Royal Navy. Died 1928.
Frederick Adams. Born 1872, Weston Underwood, Bucks.  He was an Engineer.  He also fought in the Boar War and played football for Southampton. Died 1965.

I would have been very proud to have known them.  I will add my Gt Grandmothers to the relevant page as I can't leave them out, can I?

I'm thrilled to have found out about these men and their fathers and grandfathers.  I know details for all 16 of my  3 x Gt grandfathers and mothers and a great deal of the credit goes to kind, helpful people on this Rootschat website.  SO.. thanks to all who have helped me.

KateW.
