Cornhill Family of Paignton Devon

Can anyone help me with the Cornhill family that were living in Blagon/Collaton in 1851. I am particularly interested in George Cornhill born approx 1823 in Newfoundland Canada.

Hope this works - I've just signed up so I may make a hash of it at first.

YES  - I do know a lot about George Cornhill. he is a G-G-G-Grandfather of mine.

Let me know what you're interested in finding out and how you're connected and I'll respond to that. I have quite a lot of info. but obviously can't put it all here at once! Do you know about his ancestors? Are you interested in any of his children in particular? etc.

He has gone AWOL in 1841 but re-surfaces in Paignton in 1843 when he married. He was born in Newfoundland apparently, although the only baptism I know of there is for his sister. His parents may well have been back and forth a lot so maybe he was born there but baptised elsewhere.
