another cyclone

This is almost a duplication of a posting under cyclone Larry. But with a new cyclone hitting Port Hedland at this moment, it may be of interest to see the radar image of this in almost real time.
It may be seen at this url

Them Cyclones seem to going mad in Australia at the moment.
I was up most of the other night watching Cyclone Wati which was following the path of Larry, when it decided to do a handbrake turn in the middle of the sea and head down the Queensland coast. (never thought a Cylone could do a handbrake turn)  :o
Spoke to my brother who lives on Heron Island, just off the Queensland coast and they were going through the emergency procedure drill, getting ready to leave the Island. The winds were predicted to be about 180mph and the waves 25 feet. in the end it went further east. He said the Cyclone was totally unpredictable.
