Hello Ronald,

I am womdering if you have written to BBC Wales South West.
Their excellent Ask a Local "puts your questions of local interest to the people who know - locals!" http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/southwest/yoursay/topics/askalocal.shtml

I also suggest you send a message, if you have not already done so, to Ian Allan Publishing's first class publication Classic Bus. I feel the enthusiastic people who read this publication should be able to assist you.

All the Best, Chris

The 2006 UK Infodisk has one only Gimlet, perhaps a letter
to this person may have results!

Hiya Mike,

If the G Gimlet you found living at Newport is the one who ran the small bus company about the time of WWI and between the wars he would be a very old gentleman.

All the Best,

Chris
