john timmis was my great grandad on my nans marriage cert he was a carpenter
my nan was alice maud timmis born around 1884
she may have had a sister called may ann timmis

looking for any census with these people on realy struggling to find any concrete evidence of any of them

alice maud timmis born around 1884 she was 23 in 1906 when she married
john timmis no idea when born or who he married
may ann timmis may have married a smith in 1898 in kings norton

there are a lot of john timmis on the igi family search, but without a birthplace it is difficult to sort out who is who. kali.

with Charlie,Edwin & Joseph living in Heath Staffs. 1901 cen.
Nothing in War. or Worcs.
or
Alice M/16/Servant
Living with Joseph Timmis but not listed as her father and 2 more servants also in Staffs.
Am I getting close?

In 1901 there doesn't seem to be any John Timmis's outside of Staffs.
Could this family have come from there?

the 1901 census looks promising
i know nothing about john just that he is my great grandad and my nan alice is also hard to find but think we may have found a starting point with these 2 censuses

1891 and 1901 census look like same family except the mother isnt there in the later census

will look for a marriage and a death for the mother
