This marr. info.came from the IGI batches.I've had a look for the cert. on all the usual sites but not found anything.You could contact Sandwell Records Office and ask for a search covering this year and see if they come back with anything.I think the same applies for the birth cert. as well but I'll have another look.You can get Alice's from the link I gave .

I'm going to annoy you now.I don't think this is your family.On your gran's marr. cert. her father is a carpenter, and on the family I gave you he is a pattern maker,both skilled jobs so unlikely to be the same John,also her birth place was Cannock.The 2nd. Alice I gave you in 1901 was born in Hednesford which is just outside Cannock.Alarm bells are ringing.

Skilled people were very proud of the occupations so I don't think it is.Have another look tomorrow.

any luck on my john
i did look on ancestry but nothing in 1881 for a john been a capenter unless he had a different trade before my nan was born,didnt have access to 1901 to look

The only John I could find is the one in the family I gave you who was a pattern maker.I can't find the family of Alice Maud living with Joseph Timmis as a servant.It may be her father wasn't called John.
