Okay Tormor I will see what else I can find for you.

I am one of the children on the photograph on my avatar.

Are either of you from the area.

Maybe Liz can fill you in a bit more as we don't want to do
work she has already covered in helping you.

Thanks to Ian I have found a double grave showing the inscription below.

On 1st side of double M.I.

IN
LOVING MEMORY
OF
WILLIAM ARTHUR HOLLIS
WHO DIED FEBRUARY 20 1888
AGED 30

ALSO OF
ANN ANDREW
WIFE OF
WILLIAM GRIFFITHS HOLLIS
BORN NOV 14 1828
DIED MARCH 30 1892
MOTHER OF THE ABOVE

ALSO OF
FRANK GRIFFITHS
HOLLIS
YOUNGEST SON OF
WILLIAM GRIFFITHS AND
ANN ANDREW HOLLIS
DIED MARCH 21 1896
AGED 28

ALSO OF
WILLIAM
GRIFFITHS HOLLIS
BORN DEC 27 1827
DIED FEB 10 1903

On 2nd side of M.I.

ALSO
EMILY FANNY BOULTON
HOLLIS
AT REST
OCTOBER 18TH 1937

As the stone is worn without Ian's transcript I would not have been
able to note it all.

The Northamptonshire Family History Society have just brought a new
M.I. for the Churchyard. I will get a copy a.s.a.p. to confirm against
what Ian and I already have noted.

Hi Lizzie

Unfortunately we don't appear to be allowed to exchange email addresses. You will see that your reply has been modified.

How do we move forward from here? This is all very well but it's like typing through a letterbox!

Sandy has come up trumps with the transcriptions and photographs, for which I am most grateful as I don't live in the area and it would be worth going to see this collection.

Best wishes

Tormor

Hi Sandy

Thank you very much for both the transcriptions and the pictures. These are a tremendous help.

We don't come from or live in the area but your work has shown that it is worth going to see this collection before they get a work-out type vicar who thinks he'll pick up these stones just for practice. I wonder who owns them?!? An interesting piece of gen that the Church is 12th Century. Thank you for that. Is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre a different one, or the same?

Many thanks and best wishes

Tormor
