I have lost a bookmark for a site which had a Wills and Probate index going back to the 1300's.
The site had an index A-Z, the records were part indexed to about the 1770's and the rest were scans of the images from the book. The info it gave was Name, Location, Date, Will, Admin etc.,
The site may have been a .ac.uk or .info site?
I seem to remember that i was looking for Medieval stuff when i originally found it.
It was not the National archives site.
Does this ring a bell with anyone or does anyone have the URL?
