I'm researching the following family

Robert Wallace b 1862 Arbroath, married Barbara Stewart b 1865 Brechin. They had the following children.

Robert Wallace b 1844
Charles Hill Wallace 1892
John Reid Wallace 1895
Charlotte Stewart Wallace b 1899
All births in Brechin, Forfar

Charlotte Stewart Wallace (my Grandmother) married Robert Thoms Oram (b 1884 Dundee) in 1922 Dundee. I am having trouble finding the death of Robert Thoms Oram between 1922- 31.

Can anyone help on finding a death for Robert, or do you have any connections with any of the above?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Dave,

    You may have already found and dismissed this as being the incorrect Robert Oram, but a Robert Oram is listed in the free index of Scotlands People as having died in 1922 at Possilpark, Glasgow.  He is the only one between 1922 and 1931.

It could be a possibility as I cannot find him anywhere after the marriage.

Hi again Dave,

     You mentioned that the 'cut-off' point was 1931. I found a Robert Oram died at St Clement, Dundee in 1933.  The only other one up to 1955, died at Glasgow in 1951.

That could be him. I know he was born in St Clements.
