I've used it a few times and most of the time somone replies. It's quite useful.


It gets updated every Monday, so your advert gets a whole week on teletext.

Family tree has been on C4 for years,unfortunately it takes weeks for post to appear.I once sent by post a whole lot of information i printed out.I never heard a word from the person,so never bothered again. I have also emailed asking more information on a person.Got no reply,why people put adds on this program then ignore info sent.i cant fathom out ???

A lot of the posts that i have read recently dont actually say what they are looking for, just a list of names & possible birth dates, unless thats just how I read them but saying that 50 words isnt a lot

I watch this regularly and have been able to help some people and made very good friends with some of them.  I do agree though, a lot of the info is very scant and ,therefore,  it is almost impossible to try and help them unless they can be contacted to find out more.

  I did find a relative of my husbands through putting a message on there.  It's been going for quite sometime but cant remember exactly.

i  have had teletext for around fourteen years,have lived at this address for eight it was on the telly then and before.so years and years ;D actually i now only read it over a cup of tea in the morning sometimes.Because it gives me a good start to the day.When you read a message on the lines of.
I am looking for "Name"she was born in 1841 in London her  last address was ??? in 1860.Has anyone seen her around anywhere.Any help will be appreciated, I thought i might keep an eye open for her but she didn't give a description ;D
