1841 look up request Knowles
« on: Tuesday 04 April 06 16:22 BST (UK) »
I don't know if the 1841 census exists for this county but if by any chance someone has it, please could I ask for a look up for Sarah Knowles and husband (name unknown). They had two sons Michael (age 8 in 1841) and Thomas (4) and a daughter, Nancy age 11. There may be others but I don't know.
I have Sarah in 1851 as a widow, living with Nancy (now Fawcett)

Can anyone help please?

It is quite likely that they were in Lancashire then.  If you look at the 1851 census entry Sarah is born Lancaster and so is her son Thomas who is 14.

The family dont seem to be on 41 name indexes for Lancashire either.
Even today with Ancestry 41 on cant seem to see this family.
