1841 Census - Richardson - COMPLETED WITH V.MANY THANKS TO DORTMUND
« on: Wednesday 05 April 06 23:18 BST (UK) »
Looking for William and Margaret Richardson on 1841 census.  They would be aged 48 and 49 respectively.  William was a farmer but I do not know where he was born.  His wife was born in Pocklington.  On 1851 census they have children Robert (21), Elizabeth (16) and William (13) all born Bielby.  There is also a daughter Margaret aged 3.  As there is such a big gap between William and Margaret I am wondering if there are any other children who may have been alive on 1841 census.  On 1851 census they were living at Rythan Gate, Bielby, Hayton, Yorks.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

With many thanks.

Hello Trevor

Thank you very much indeed.  That is super news.  You have given me names of children that I was not aware of - Mary, Ann and James.  Also looks like they have William's father living with them as well which takes me back another generation.  Will now check IGI to see if I can find anything out about William Senior.

Very many thanks for your information - it has been very very helpful.

With best wishes.
