Rootschat would not accept just plain Sue - Susan or Suzie so ended up as Suey..

have to say, I often have a look at someones profile if they have a 'sexless' name just to see if they are a boy or a girl  ;D
Suey.

As a youngster, pre marriage, my initials were IPA. My mom and dad, who were very fond of the hops, said that it stood for India Pale Ale! So that's me!

Still, I suppose it's better than...I P Daily!  ;D

I registered here way, way back in January 2004. I didn't know what the site would turn out to be like, so I didn't want to use my real name.

I never had a nickname at school, either, so I chose to use just use my initials: SS.

I thought it may bring images of nazis, so I added my place of birth: Rhondda.

I initially signed in as SS Rhondda, but many people began assuming I was female ??? - as in SS Rhondda sounds like a ship & ships are deemed to be female ???

So I modified it to the present username of SS from The Rhondda :D.

Don't know why I came with my "pet" name.  My boyfriend (now ex) called me Boongie or Lady Boongimere and he is Moodle.

And well Pam - that's just me!

I'm just being curious ....my Mum would says nosey!!

How or why did you choose your Rootschat profile name??  (Promise not to tell  :-X....... ;D)..........

I simply used my Initials, at the time of registering It did not occur to me that the login would be my ID on the site, otherwise I might have picked Anglers Rest.
Regards,
Julie
